PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging system which can send and receive many multibeams simultaneously. SOLUTION: A parametric echo is used in order to perform multibeam ultrasonic imaging. Ultrasonic sounds of two frequencies are sent simultaneously to two or more directions in a subject 4. The parametric echo by frequency of sum or difference of the two frequencies which are generated by the nonlinearity of ultrasonic propagation in the subject is received from two or more directions simultaneously.
