<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove efficiently iron sand, small pieces of iron, etc. which cannot be sorted by the conventional gravel removing machine. <P>SOLUTION: A bracket-like holder 27 is bonded on the lower surface of a supply opening 2b by welding or the like, and a cylindrical permanent magnet 24 is rotatably or fixedly attached to the holder 27. At that time, the periphery of the permanent magnet 24 is arranged so as to continue to a gutter end part 2d of a supply gutter 2c.
