PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absent guide system which prevents to forget release of absent guidance after absent end date and time of each schedule while automatically establishing the absent guide which links with schedule contents inputted to a scheduler. SOLUTION: An absent guide system 1 comprises a schedule management server 7 and a telephone exchange 11; the schedule management server 7 is provided with an extension telephone number acquisition unit 13 which acquires an extension telephone number of a user, and an absent guide request unit 15 which transmits an absent guide request signal based on the absent schedule information of the user; and the telephone exchange 11 is provided with a guide database 9 which records the absent guide information including the extension telephone number and absent start date and time, etc. included in the absent guide request signal, and an absent guide unit 20 which performs absent answer to an outside line telephone after the absent start date and time.
