PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately change display contents on a personal digital assistant when the state of a display part is changed. SOLUTION: When a main display part is changed from a vertically long state to a horizontally long state, a display area extracted to be displayed in the main display part is changes so that a left upper end point (point P1) is common. That is, the left upper end point of a display area 111 before the change and that of a display area 112 after the change coincide with each other on a virtual screen. When the main display part is changed from the horizontally long state to the vertically long state, the display area extracted to be displayed in the main display part is changes so that a left upper end point (point P2) is common. That is, the left upper end point of the display area 111 before the change and that of the display area 112 after the change coincide with each other on a virtual screen.
