PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply method and its device capable of resupplying hot water to compensate a reduced water level when the water level of a bathtub is reduced, and keeping a desired hot water temperature. SOLUTION: The reduction of hot water quantity is determined when the water level of hot water in the bathtub becomes lower than a prescribed water level after the hot water is supplied to the bathtub by a desired full water position through a piping path connected from a hot water storage tank storing the heated hot water to the bathtub, then heat quantity of resupplied hot water necessary for heating the hot water in the bathtub to a desired hot water temperature is determined when the hot water is resupplied from the hot water storage tank to the full-water position of the bathtub, and the hot water is resupplied while satisfying the hot water quantity and heat quantity.
