PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition improving mechanical properties such as scratch resistance, surface hardness, etc., by using a simple method. SOLUTION: The resin composition is obtained by mixing a tri- or polyfunctional acrylic monomer, oligomer or polymer with an alkoxysilyl group-containing acrylic monomer and subjecting the mixture to a polymerization reaction to give a tri- or polyfunctional alkoxysilyl group-containing acrylate and subjecting the tri- or polyfunctional alkoxysilyl group-containing acrylate and a metal oxide fine particle containing a hydroxy group on the surface or a metal alkoxide to a condensation reaction.
