A mobile terminal providing a camera roaming service and its method are provided to allow a user to capture a sharp image by setting optimum camera picture quality in any area where a roaming service is provided. A controller stores a camera register value for controlling power frequency of each country and a camera clock frequency according to the power frequency in a memory(S110). The controller performs a roaming service according to a user request(S120). The controller checks whether the user requests camera roaming(S130). If the camera roaming is requested, the controller generates and displays a country list to allow the mobile terminal to select a roaming country in which it is currently located(S140). The controller checks whether the roaming country is selected(S150). When the roaming country is selected, the controller checks whether a power frequency of the selected roaming country and that of the mobile terminal are the same(S160). If the power frequencies are not the same, a camera register value corresponding to the power frequency of the roaming country is read from the memory and set in a camera register(S170). The controller adjusts the camera clock frequency by using the set camera register value(S180).
