<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device having a mechanism to prevent excessive load from being applied to a hydraulic steering assist device constituting the power steering device. <P>SOLUTION: The power steering device 100 with the hydraulic steering assist device 3 for generating steering assist force by a hydraulic pump 32 is provided with a delivery pressure limiting means for limiting delivery pressure of the hydraulic pump 32 in the hydraulic steering assist device 3 to predetermined pressure or lower. The delivery pressure limiting means has a relative rotating angle limiting means for limiting relative rotation of a rotary valve 30 in the hydraulic steering assist device 3 within a range of a predetermined rotating angle. A flow passage communicating the hydraulic pump 32 with a reservoir tank 33 is secured inside the rotary valve 30 by the relative rotating angle limiting means, to limit the delivery pressure to the predetermined pressure or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
