<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably deploy a knee airbag almost in parallel with a rear face of an instrument panel in a knee airbag device with a column. <P>SOLUTION: In this knee airbag device 10 with a column, a folded knee airbag 16 is arranged in a steering column cover 14. In a plurality of straps 40 and 42 connecting an instrument panel side base cloth 36 of the knee airbag 16 with an occupant side base cloth 38, a vehicle forward and backward width dimension of the strap 40 on a upper side of the vehicle is set larger than that of the strap 42 on a lower side of the vehicle. Therefore, at the time of restraining a knee 20K of an occupant 20, the knee airbag 16 can be deployed so that an upper part of the vehicle is along a rear face 32A of an instrument panel 32.
