INFORMATION RECORDING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION REPRODUCING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a reproducing apparatus which does not have sufficient buffer to reproduce data without failure by optimizing data which is encrypted and in which video data and audio data is multiplexed.

SOLUTION: When an information recording apparatus 100 encrypts video recording data and records it onto an encrypted data storage section 108, a data minimizing means 105 minimizes the data by deleting unnecessary packets. Also, a data optimizing means 106 optimizes the data by sorting video packets and audio packets so that they may be uniformly distributed with respect to time series. A data encrypting means 107 encrypts it. In this way, the reproducing apparatus 200 can reproduce it without failure by only retaining minimum video buffer 206 and audio buffer 208.
