<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for an automatic door of a space-saving structure which can be opened/closed manually in case of electric power failure. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device for an automatic sliding door is composed as follows. On an upper part of the sliding door 1, a guide case 6 having a groove is provided in parallel to the sliding door, into which a resin liner 7 fitted with the grooved is mounted. Furthermore, a rotary shaft 4 with engaging teeth is inserted thereinto while its one end is connected to a shaft of a motor 11. The rotary shaft with teeth is wounded with a twisted wire bundling bare wires and a metal wire 9 thereon at such a pitch as to rotate together with the motor forward and rearward when the sliding door is manually opened/closed in case of electric power failure. Also, a moving element 13 engaging with the engaging teeth of the rotary shaft with teeth exposed from the groove is brought to fit in a bracket taken out from the sliding door. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
