<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an integrated elliptically polarizing plate suitable for a TN type liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: An elliptically polarizing plate is provided in which a transparent protective film, a polarizing film and an optical anisotropic protective film are layered in this order, wherein a value of wavelength dispersion in refractive index anisotropy of the optical anisotropic protective film is controlled to ≥0.7 and <1.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
