PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably reduce the amount of a generated volatile organic compound in a material laid on a floor for an automobile, and formed as a recycled material by recycling a carpet waste or a waste of a floor carpet. SOLUTION: The material 1 laid on the floor for the automobile includes a pulverized product of the carpet waste recovered from the waste material of a carpet, and a nonwoven fabric-shredded product mixed with the pulverized product of the carpet waste, and is constituted by binding them with a thermosetting binder. A chemical-added member 2 to which the chemical having activities for reducing the volatile organic compound is added is dispersed and arranged in the material 1 laid on the floor for the automobile.
