PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collecting system improved to collect more information. SOLUTION: The information collecting system includes a first node and a second node, the second node being created by the first node. The system collects state information including data items about information that can be collected by means of a predetermined protocol. The first node has a production means for producing state information indicating the content of changes in the first node according to predetermined specifications, a conversion means for converting the data items into identifiers for identifying the data items, and a sending means for converting the state information into information that the second node can receive, and sending this information to the second node. The second node has a storage means for storing the data items and the identifiers in association, a reception means for receiving the state information according to the predetermined protocol, and a collection means for reading the corresponding data items out of the identifies and collecting the state information including the data items.
