PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system and an image display method capable of suppressing moving image blur with a relatively simple constitution by superimposing a moving picture blur suppression image onto a display object image. SOLUTION: The image display system 1000A of displaying an image comprises: an object image displaying image display device 100 for displaying a display object image on a display screen; and a moving picture blur suppression image displaying projector 200 for projecting and displaying a moving picture blur suppression image DB for suppressing the moving blur produced when a display image expressing the display object image DP displayed on a display screen is visualized by the user such that the moving picture blur suppression image is superimposed on the display image.
