PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the folding direction and sheet size of a first sheet even when continuous forms having various sheet sizes are used, in a continuous form printer. SOLUTION: A projection and recess detection sensor 50 is arranged in an intermediate part of a longitudinal carrying path for carrying a continuous form in the vertical direction.
