PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check a label if it is acceptable or unacceptable in the state of the label being pasted on a release sheet fed as the label pasted on the release sheet, and to stick only the label judged to be acceptable on an object. SOLUTION: A labeling device bends the release sheet 2 at an acute angle to a direction opposite to the face on which the IC label 1 is stuck during transportation to peel off from the release sheet 2, and sticks an IC label 1 pasted on the release sheet 2 on an object 3 to be delivered. A reader/writer 50 inspects the IC label 1 pasted on the release sheet 2 if the label is acceptable or unacceptable, and then the IC label 1 judged to be unacceptable by the reader/writer 50 is stapled onto the release sheet 2 at a stapling section 70 to inhibit the label from being peeled off even if the release sheet 2 is bent at an acute angle to the direction opposite to the face on which the IC label is pasted.
