PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a printer size small by reducing occupation space of a conveyance roller and an erasure roller. SOLUTION: In the rewritable printer 10 equipped with a writing unit 51 which performs writing and displaying to rewritable paper 70, and an erasure unit 31 which erases the written display, the conveyance roller 32 and the erasure roller 33 which constitute the erasure unit 31 are constructed to be installed rotatably on the same axis.
