The invention relates to an ice dispenser comprising a storage compartment (6, 10) for ice cubes, a slide (23) which can be moved over a dispensing outlet (12) of the storage compartment (6, 10) on a pre-defined path and comprises a first set of fingers (26), and a module (25, 26, 27) comprising a second set of fingers (26). At least one of the sets (9, 26) comprises at least two axially interspaced fingers. When the slide (23) moves along the path, a finger of the second set passes through an intermediate space between the two fingers of the first set. The module (25, 26, 27) can be moved between a position in which it partially covers the dispensing outlet (12) and a position in which it frees the dispensing outlet (12).
