FULL CLOSED VERTICAL ROTARY MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling performance of upper and lower bearings while reducing the weight by simplifying the structure, and to facilitate the work for replacing the lower bearing while further reducing the cost. SOLUTION: The full closed vertical rotary machine comprises a heat exchanger 9 provided on the side face of a frame 1 in order to cool the inside of the rotary machine, a fan duct 7 provided above the frame in order to supply outside air to the heat exchanger, and a fan 71 provided in the fan duct wherein a rib 14 is extended up to a flange 13 for integrally forming the frame 1 and an installation flange 51. The upper bearing 61 can be cooled effectively by blowing air thereto from an inlet 8 provided in the fan duct 7 in order to suck outside air from the vicinity of the upper bearing 61.
