PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing modulation type transmission signal, having performance expected for a maximum ratio combining method and capable of performing diversity reception, even in a receiving device for OFDM type transmission signal. SOLUTION: The receiving device includes a noise level detecting circuit 12h, which inputs a digital OFDM signal or carrier signal sequence and then detects and outputs a noise level mixed with the digital OFDM signal or a noise level mixed with the carrier signal sequence; a noise level ratio calculating circuit 13h which inputs the noise level, and calculates and outputs a noise level ratio to a reference noise level; and a noise level equalizing circuit 14h which inputs the noise level ratio and outputs a noise level ratio of integral number of times as that of the carrier signal.
