PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid battery which can maximize charging efficiency by carrying out full charging after finishing a fast-charging of two batteries as well as its charging method. SOLUTION: The hybrid battery 1000 is provided with a first chargeable power source 1100, a second chargeable power source 1200 connected in parallel with the first power source 1100 and a controlling unit 1400 which, while sensing charging voltages of the first power source and the second power source, pre-charges and fast-charges each of the first power source 1100 and the second power source 1200 and then carries out full charging.
