PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine in a flexible fuel vehicle, ensuring a required amount of lag by setting a lag angle threshold to a lag angle side as much as possible while preventing misfire. SOLUTION: In a spark ignition type internal combustion engine using fuel mixed with alcohol, ignition timing for a crank angle is set, and also the lag angle threshold IGLGG for the ignition timing is set according to a concentration of alcohol mixed (S10 to S42).
