PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube for a heat exchanger capable of preventing leakage of liquid, and the heat exchanger with the same. SOLUTION: This tube for the heat exchanger constituted by cylindrically combining a first member 31 and a second member 32, by brazing, has overlapped areas 35, 36 where the first member 31 and the second member 32 are overlapped to each other, a thickness t1 of the overlapped areas 35, 36 of the first member 31 is thinner than a thickness t2 of the other area of the first member 31, and a thickness t3 of the overlapped areas 35, 36 of the second member 32 is thinner than a thickness t4 of the other area of the second member 32.
