PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-dryer used in a bathroom, a toilet or the like for blowing moisture on the hand with strong air flow, which uses air blown from a nozzle at a part into which the hands are not inserted and can dry the hands effectively. SOLUTION: In a structure including a blower means 2 provided inside the body, a blower conduit 3 linked to the blower means 2, a blower nozzle part 4 linked to the blower conduit 3, an air flow direction changer part 5 provided at the blower nozzle part 4, a hand insertion part 6 provided in front of the blower nozzle part 4, a hand position sensing means 7 which senses the position of the hands and a control section 8 which operates the air flow direction changer part 4, the control section 8 operates the air flow direction changer part 5 and the blower means 2 toward the hands detected by the hand position sensing means 7 when the hands are inserted into the hand insertion part 6, the air blown from the blower nozzle part 4 is applied onto the hands, so that a hand-dryer 1 with good drying efficiency is obtained.
