PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a pulse wave to be measured easily without the limitation of a communication environment. SOLUTION: The pulse wave measuring instrument 1 has a USB plug 3 which can be connected with a computer by a universal serial bus extended at one end of a body portion 2. A photoelectric sensor unit 25 is arranged at the other end of the body portion 2. The photoelectric sensor unit 25 has a light emitting element 10 and a light receiving element 11.
