<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop antenna type multiband-adaptive antenna device capable of covering more frequency bands, and a communication terminal device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The multiband-adaptive antenna device has a base plate 4 and a nearly linear antenna element 3 disposed opposite to the base plate. The antenna element 3 has a shape starting at a feed point 1, bent more than once in a first divided area of an antenna element area, and bent more than once in a second divided area to reach a ground point. The antenna element has a clockwise turning portion that extends while being bent clockwise in each of the first and second divided areas and a counterclockwise turning portion that extends while being bent counter clockwise successively to the clockwise turning portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
