PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a liquid delivering head which can inexpensively cope with the case when a nozzle clogs, and which is equipped with a piezoelectric element suitable for use as a disposable type. SOLUTION: The liquid delivering head 1 has a head unit 2 and a driving unit 3. The head unit 2 is coupled via a coupling mechanism 4 to the driving unit 3 in a state in which it is attachable and detachable. The head unit 2 is equipped with the liquid droplet delivering nozzle 25, a liquid channel 21a with which the liquid droplet delivering nozzle 25 communicates, and a diaphragm 23 capable of oscillating in an outward direction which defines a part of the liquid channel 21a. The driving unit 3 is equipped with the piezoelectric element 31 for oscillating the diaphragm 23. When the liquid droplet delivering nozzle 25 becomes clogged, it is enough to replace only the head unit 2, and the expensive driving unit 3 can be used repeatedly. Moreover, as there is no need of disposing the driving unit 3, the liquid delivering head 1 is suitable for use as a disposable type liquid delivering head. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
