PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pressure casting device where the phenomenon that a ring-shaped solidified layer generated in the position near the upper end of a stoke in each runner remains at a drag is prevented, and casting can be continuously performed in a short cycle, and to provide a low-pressure casting method performing low-pressure casting using the low-pressure casting device. SOLUTION: Holding pins 21C are provided by four at almost equal intervals to the circumferential direction of the opening of the lower end in a through hole 21b in such a manner that the circumference of the opening is surrounded, and are elongated out toward the upper end of a stoke 11. The elongated out ends of the holding pins 21C reach the inside of the first runner 20a in a drag 22, and are separated at prescribed intervals from the taper-shaped face 22A as the inner circumferential face of the drag 22 defining the first runner 20a. Upon mold opening, ring-shaped solidified layers 2A composed of solidified molten metal 2 in the peripheral part of the first runner 20a are, as being clung to holding pins 21C, separated from the drag 22 together with a product part and the part equal to the runner as the part of the solidified molten metal 2 in the second runner 20c.
