PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent image forming film which is enriched in designability and cannot be counterfeited, and with which it is possible to easily perform authenticity discrimination visually or mechanically.

SOLUTION: The latent image forming film is equipped with a reflection layer and a polarization converting/rotating layer which is arranged on the surface of the reflection layer, and changes the ellipticity of incident polarized light and simultaneously rotates the orientation of the incident polarized light.
