<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine capable of effectively inhibiting transmission of fuel pressure pulsation generated by the drive of a high pressure pump. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with: a low pressure pump 71 capable of feeding fuel with pressurizing the same to predetermined feed pressure; a high pressure pump 72 capable of pressurizing and feeding fuel pressurized by the low pressure pump 71; a fuel injection means 73 capable of injecting pressurized fuel, a low pressure passage 74 connecting the low pressure pump 71 and the high pressure pump 72; a high pressure passage 75 connecting the high pressure pump 72 and the fuel injection means 73; a bypass passage 81 connecting the low pressure passage 74 and the high pressure passage 75 or the fuel injection means 73; a pulsation reduction means 82 provided in the bypass passage 81 and reducing pulsation of fuel; a bypass passage reverse flow prevention means 83 preventing reverse flow of fuel in the bypass passage 81; and a high pressure passage check valve 77 preventing reverse flow of fuel in the high pressure passage 75 and having valve open pressure set higher than feed pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
