摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deterioration of fuel economy by starting an engine or operating a mechanical brake caused by operation of a driver in a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including steps of: (S100, S110) detecting SOC and temperature TB of a battery for traveling; (S130) calculating a temperature correction coefficient &alpha; (1) from TB when an EV switch is turned on (Yes in S120); (S150) calculating a temperature correction coefficient &alpha; (2) from TB when the EV switch is not turned on (No in S120); (S140, S160) calculating an EV travelable power value WOUT based on the SOC and the temperature correction coefficient; and (S170) sending the EV travelable power value WOUT to a meter ECU to display the EV travelable power value WOUT on a power meter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
