<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate material which is excellent in scratch-resistance, printing durability, and on-board developing property, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the lithographic printing plate material which has a hydrophilic layer and an image forming layer on a base material in this order has two processes. In the first process, a hydrophilic layer application liquid containing a water-soluble compound of which the solubility with 100 g of water at 25°C ranges from 0.2 g to 4.0 g is applied onto the base material and dried to install the hydrophilic layer. In the second process, after the process of installing the hydrophilic layer, an image forming layer application liquid is applied on the hydrophilic layer and dried to install the image forming layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
