PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of satisfaction of a user by providing a hinge mechanism which is small-sized and compact by excluding useless spaces as much as possible. SOLUTION: A hinge mechanism for connecting a main body side housing and a rotary side housing rotatably while both housings are kept overlapped, is configured by sliding a first slide guide and a second slide guide in directions different from each other on a rotary surface by a first slide body and a second slide body, and is equipped with a cam which is abutted on at least one of the first slide body and the second slide body, and an energizing means for energizing the cam toward the one slide body, wherein the energizing means is configured to energize the cam to a direction crossing a sliding direction of the one slide body on the rotary surface.
