摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control accuracy of direction and intensity distribution of an antenna beam. SOLUTION: This optical control type beam forming circuit is provided with: a laser beam source 1 which generates light waves; a light wave distributor 2 which distributes the light waves from the laser beam source 1; a light frequency shifter 3, which shifts one frequency of the distributed light waves; an SLM 6 which converts phase distribution of the first light wave from the light frequency shifter 3 into phase distribution, corresponding to a predetermined antenna beam pattern; a beam combiner 9, which combines the first light wave converted by the SLM 6 with a second light wave from the light wave distributor 2; a light-sampling means 10 for spatially sampling interference intensity of the combined light waves; a photoelectric conversion means 13 for performing photoelectric conversion of a plurality of the sampled light waves to be output to each element antenna 14; and an SLM controller 20, having a phase sensor 21 for detecting the spatial phase distribution of the light waves converted by the SLM 6 and an arithmetic processing means 22 for calculating the spatial phase distribution of the SLM 6 by reflecting detection results of the phase sensor 21 on the spatial phase distribution.
