PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device with which more effective learning of foreign languages becomes possible. SOLUTION: Whenever a key for scene extraction is input in a remote controller 10 during DVD reproduction, each piece of subpicture data of a plurality of languages for display at present and each piece of audio data of the plurality of languages, corresponding to the subpicture data, are stored in a memory 9, and screen display and sound output are performed by using the stored data.
