SOLUTION: This process control device comprises a proportional computing unit 3 carrying out proportional operation to a control target value SV; a proportional computing unit 5 carrying out proportional operation to a predicted control amount after the lapse of dead time; a control amount predictor 9 inputting a control amount PV and a manipulated variable MV of a control object 7 to determine a predicted control amount after the lapse of dead time; a deviation computing unit 11 determining the deviation (e) between the control target value and the predicted control amount after the lapse of dead time; a predicted control amount corrector 13 computing the difference between a present control amount predicted value predicted in the past by the control amount predictor 9, and the present control amount PV of the control object 7; an adder 15 adding the deviation (e) output from the deviation computing unit 11 and the difference output from the predicted control amount corrector 13; an integral computing unit 17 integrating the output of the adder 15; and an adder 19 adding the respective outputs of the proportional computing unit 3, proportional computing unit 5 and integral computing unit 17 to create the manipulated variable MV to the control object 7.
