PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the auxiliary locking device of an automatic vending machine for preventing the opening of the door body of an automatic vending machine. SOLUTION: When pushing or dropping a locking member 5 from the upper part into a main body member 4, a lug 22 of a locking member 5 is made to pass while a hook member 15 of the main body member 4 is pushed back to an anti-energizing direction against the energizing direction of a spring 16 due to the pushing force or gravity of the locking member 5. Furthermore, when the locking member 5 is pushed in, and the lug 22 ends passing, the hook member 15 is restored, and the hook part 14 is locked to the lug 22. In this state, the hook part 14 of the hook member 15 is completely engaged with the lug 22, and the hook member 15 is energized by the spring 16 so that even when the locking member 5 is pushed upward, the lug 22 is restrained by the hook member 15, and it is not extractable.
