PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a control circuit for an image display device, whose scale is small, whose power consumption and dimensions are small, and whose weight is light, though operations can be changed over. SOLUTION: A controller part 14 among an IC 12 for wireless communication, an IC16 for IF, and a display 13 is provided with a programmable logic IC 13 and ROM 22. In two or more sets of programs stored in the ROM 22, a series of operations until the image data after being read from the IC 12 for wireless communication and converted into logic signals are transferred to the display 13 are described, respectively. On the other hand, the programmable logic IC 13 performs switching of any one of the program sets according to whether the display 13 displays television broadcasting, or displays a desk top image from a computer, or displays the image data from the memory card 15.
