PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder maintaining an accurate time by obviating the labor and the work for operation of adjusting the time which can be carried out in the world. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is disclosed which has a printing means for printing a character or the like on a printing medium by ink particles ejected from a nozzle. The inkjet recorder comprises a clock function and a receiver for a satellite positioning system. The time of the clock function is corrected by using position information and the time information received from the satellite positioning system, thereby maintaining an accurate time.
