PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which, when setting a golf ball on a hitting practice mat of artificial grass in a driving range without an automatic tee-up device, a player is conventionally required to put golf balls in a basket, carry them to a driving deck, transfer the balls to a ball tray and move the balls from the ball tray to the hitting practice mat, in many cases, the player rakes the ball with the head of a golf club generally, however, a conventional golf ball tray releases a plurality of unnecessary balls, when being raked with the club head. SOLUTION: This golf ball storing tray is so improved that its base part is formed into a gentle downslope from the inner part of a tray body toward a ball take-out part and a U-shaped groove having a slope face toward the ball take-out part is formed so that, when the player rakes out a golf ball with the club head, one ball moves at a time to the hitting practice mat.
