PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laundry equipment at a launderette which promotes early collection of the laundry by a user and can be locked so that influences by static electricity can be reduced in winter. SOLUTION: An opening/closing lid 11 is for opening/closing an entrance of the laundry of laundry equipment 1 which is provided with a fee collection mechanism 2 that is installed at a launderette and at least a drying function, and is equipped with a locking device 3 using a key. The locking device 3 is provided with: a key hole 4 into which the key is put; an extra charge unlocking mechanism 5 for canceling a lock state of the opening/closing lid 11 by paying a prescribed extra charge after a prescribed time passes from the completion of the laundry and by unlocking operation with the key; a lock power input mechanism for inputting power to the laundry equipment 1 by locking operation with the key after payment of the charge; and a static electricity discharge mechanism for discharging the static electricity inside the laundry equipment generated when drying to the outside through a conductive key put into the key hole 4 when unlocking operation is performed.
