PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a further improved wound covering material suited to a method for treating a wound while retaining wet environment with exudate from the wound part. SOLUTION: This wound covering material 1 covering the wound part and retaining the exudate exuding from the wound part, incorporates a heat producing body 6 for warming the wound part to improve the blood circulation in the wound part, to activate the action of the active ingredient contained in the exudate and to promote the curing of the wound.
