There is described an imidazole for the treatment of an infection caused or contributed to by microorganisms resistant to antibiotics. There is also described a method of treating a patient suffering from an infection caused or contributed to by microorganisms resistant to antibiotics, said method co mprising the step of administering an effective amount of an imidazole.
