RECONFIGURABLE DATA PATH PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reconfigurable data path processor for providing a supercomputer which can be installed at a desk side.

SOLUTION: This configurable data path processor includes: a plurality of arithmetic means; a data path for making a post-arithmetic means to perform an arithmetic operation by using an arithmetic result from a pre-arithmetic means by connecting those arithmetic means; a data path for switching the post-arithmetic means which inputs the arithmetic means from the pre-arithmetic means to another arithmetic means; a data path control means for controlling the data path; and a storage means for storing data to be used by the arithmetic means, wherein elements configuring the arithmetic means are configured as superconducting single magnetic flux quantum elements.
