<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a drive method of a liquid jet head jetting large and small liquid droplets. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a liquid jet device forming large dots which are jetted by selecting a plurality of pulse signals and small dots jetted by selecting the smaller number of pulse signals than that of the large dots has a measuring step setting a first drive waveform and a first drive voltage as a pulse signal so that the large dots of the desired size can be formed and measuring the size of the small dots, and a compensating step for setting a second drive waveform that is an adjusted one of the waveform corresponding to a vibration regulating step in a direction wherein the large dots become smaller and setting a second drive voltage higher than the first drive voltage when the measured size of the smaller dots is smaller than a predetermined size setting a second drive waveform that is an adjusted one of the waveform corresponding to a vibration regulating step in a direction wherein the large dots become larger and setting a second drive voltage lower than the first drive voltage when the size of the measured smaller dots is larger than a predetermined size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
