PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheetlike member 10 that securely prevents leakage of developer, prevents a roller from being scratched due to the contact of the roller with a layer thickness regulating member 26, is easily attached to and detached from a developing device 20 and is easily procured. SOLUTION: The sheetlike member 10 is used in the developing device 20 and is formed thinner than the interval of a space between the roller and the layer thickness regulating member 26. In addition, the sheetlike member 10 is provided with a leakage prevention member 42 formed thicker than the interval of a space between the roller and layer thickness regulating member 26 in order to prevent leakage of developer. When the sheetlike member 10 is inserted between the roller and the layer thickness regulating member 26, the leakage prevention member 42 comes in contact with the layer thickness regulating member 26 in the space between them, thereby positioning the sheetlike member 10.
