PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washable Tatami mat wherein creases can surely be prevented even when a load by the feet of a person is applied on the Tatami surface while the whole Tatami mat has an elasticity similar to the Tatami mat made of natural rush. SOLUTION: A hollow synthetic resin plate made of a corrugated plastic board is held between two sheets of foamed polystyrene core materials. A synthetic resin Tatami surface is laminated on the upper face of the surface side of the foamed polystyrene core material having a synthetic resin plate made of another corrugated plastic board and a synthetic resin foamed sheet therebetween. Also, a synthetic resin foamed sheet is provided under the rear face of the foamed polystyrene core material and the synthetic resin Tatami surface is sewn around the side face of the foamed polystyrene core materials.
