PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple resting implement for use in iron tower-climbing, which can be easily transported, and which can be safely attached to/detached from an iron tower in a short period of time so that a worker can take a rest in the arbitrary position of the iron tower, because the simple resting implement is mounted on the step bolt and diagonal member of the iron tower. SOLUTION: This simple resting implement comprises: a resting implement body 3 in which one end of a rod-like member is equipped with a supporting portion 2 for being detachably latched to the step bolt 53; a latching device 4 for being detachably latched to the diagonal member 54 of the iron tower 51, which is provided at the other end of the resting implement body 3; and a tabular seating plate 5 which is provided on the top surface of the resting implement body 3. When the worker takes a rest by sitting on the simple resting implement, the simple resting implement is detachably latched in such a manner as to be laid between the step bolt 53 for ascent/descent, which is mounted on the main column material 52 of the iron tower 51, and the diagonal member 54 of the iron tower 51.
