PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make "the handling work" of articles, such as the placement of the article on the shelves in the carrying cart and the taking-out of the articles from the shelves, easy in the case of carrying the articles by a carrying cart. SOLUTION: The carrying cart 4 comprises a carriage 8 which can move along a road surface 2, and a storage stand 9 which is supported by the carriage 8, and can store and deliver the articles 3. The storage stand 9 comprises a plurality of column members 23 to 26 protrusively arranged on the carriage 8, putting shelves 33 which are supported by the respective column members 23 to 26, and can put the articles 3 thereon. The putting shelves 33 have first horizontal bars 35 which elongate in the horizontal direction and are supported by the respective column members 23 to 26, and second horizontal bars 36 which project from the first horizontal bars 35 in the horizontal direction nearly perpendicular to the first horizontal bars 35. The projecting direction of the second horizontal bars 36 is made to coincide with the moving direction W of the articles 3 in putting the articles 3 on the putting shelves 33 and in taking out the articles 3 from the putting shelves 33 in a plan view.
